Hail the Hail of Summer

Drove to the city today to meet up with friends before my departure.

Just a reminder it's summer in the southern hemisphere.

Oh and Merry Christmas.

Guess what happened on my way back in the afternoon.
Rain it did, heavy. People went slow, really slow, which frustrates me tremendously.
Although I followed suit when it started hailing. Temperature outside plummeted to 15 C. The ice pieces got bigger and bigger, with the frequency of them hitting my car increasing simultaneously.

The sound them hitting my car was dreadful, especially fearing that the windscreen will break, which happens. Parked my car under a bridge on the freeway, praying that it would stop.

See how it was

It did.

Car still in one piece. Good, I thought.

A good summer Christmas it turned out to be.

Merry Christmas to you all again.

Occurences

Time flies

4 years went by in a blink, and graduation has occurred. A new title procured

A completely new chapter of my life awaits, eager to unfold itself
Feelings? Thoughts? There's a hint of indifference, bit of apprehension and surprisingly tons of anticipation.

Suicidal rate's meant to be high in my profession due to high stress level. I will keep that in mind (Many thanks to Rupert for the reminder)

Many thanks to people who showed up last night, and extra gratitude for taking care of me later the same night. I will remember the sound advises received.

Thunder. Storm approaches. Somehow the rumblings, soothing I find.

Many things to do still.

Paperwork stacked up waiting for the final touches
Piles of clothing yelling out to be packed
Real estate agents to call

It will be done. and hopefully smoothly so

Monday
That's the day my journey starts
Melbourne will be missed
Memories have been made
and to be kept
